Incident Description:
On February 22, 2022, Erie News Now reported a fire at a lumber processing plant in Spartansburg, Pennsylvania.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 9:00 a.m. after a silo filled with sawdust caught on fire.
Crews doused the structure with water for nearly three hours until it was under control.
The original fire broke out the previous Friday, at around 1:30 a.m. It started in a boiler room and spread to a shed filled with wood. Both structures were torn down, leaving behind charred wood and debris.
The damage is extensive, but no one was injured.
