On December 23, 2021, PressePortale reported a deflagration in a pellet plant in Schameder, Germany.
The incident occurred at around 3:00 a.m. in a silo containing wood chips. The chips caught fire, and the resulting flames caused property damage in the five-digit range.
Three employees were injured and taken to local hospitals. The Berleburg police are investigating.
