Incident Description:
On October 13, 2021, the Herald and News reported a fire at a wooden window and door component manufacturer in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
The fire occurred at around 8:00 p.m. and burned until 11:00 a.m. the following morning. Roughly 25 emergency personnel fought the fire, which burned freely until firefighters were able to get inside the structure to access its central location.
The fire damaged wood drying kilns on the property where cutting and welding work was being done before it started. At least two of the kilns were extensively damaged and a third had significant roof damage. Two others nearby had some damage from being exposed to the fire.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
