The fire, which broke out on the night of April 28, could have been catastrophic had it not been for the quick thinking and action of a vigilant motorist who alerted the firefighters. The flames were extinguished by the 21 firefighters who quickly arrived.
The mill owner confirmed that he had launched an internal investigation to identify the root cause and take necessary measures to prevent a similar incident in the future.
