Description of Wood Dust Fire:
On July 19, 2018, the news agency KEZI reported a silo fire at a milling and lumber company in Eugene, Oregon. Crews were dispatched to the site just before midnight but a sprinkler system extinguished the flames unaided. Fire officials stated that the sprinkler system prevented what could have escalated into a major blaze. No injuries were reported and the cause remains undetermined.
