On February 8, 2023, the Independent Record reported a fire at a sawmill in Livingston, Montana.
The fire was reported at 12:25 a.m. Around 21 firefighters responded. Crews spent 13 hours on site due to the fire creeping through the walls and ceiling insulation by way of sawdust and chips. Other hot spots included oils used for lubricants throughout the mill.
No injuries were reported.
