Incident Description:
On May 26, 2020, the CBC reported a fire at a sawmill in Bath, New Brunswick, about 48 kilometers north of Woodstock.
Firefighters arrived shortly after 10:30 p.m. and found the mill in flames. Crews from Perth-Andover, Centreville, and Florenceville-Bristol fought the fire for four hours but were unable to save the property. They also had to deal with spot fires where sparks were dropping down into the grass.
The mill employed about a dozen people, none of whom were working at the time. No injuries were reported.
