Incident Description:
On November 17, 2021, Roberto Lorenzon reported a fire at a lumber mill in União do Oeste, Brazil.
The Quilombo Military Fire Department responded to the fire call. Upon arriving at the site, firefighters found a fire in an area used to store wood shavings. Company and city hall employees were already working to put it out.
Garrison members set up two lines of attack and were able to control the fire. During two hours of firefighters, approximately 8,000 litres of water were used.
No injuries were reported.
