Incident Description:
On September 26, 2022, WFMY News reported a flash fire at an agricultural facility in High Point, North Carolina.
According to fire officials, the fire started in a dust collection system or silo. The call came in just after noon. As the silo was emptied, a flash fire broke out, burning two firefighters. Both had first and second-degree burns which were described as not life threatening, and were sent to the hospital for treatment.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
