Incident Description:
On October 9, 2021, KATU2 reported a four-alarm fire at a large commercial grain elevator in Mount Angel, Oregon.
The fire broke out shortly before 1:00 a.m. When the response was escalated to four alarms, crews from other fire departments were summoned. The fire was doused with over a million gallons of water by more than 120 firefighters.
No injuries were reported, but the fire impacted neighbourhood businesses.
