Incident Description:
On March 18, 2022, Radio Capinzal reported a grain dryer fire at an agribusiness in Zortéa, Brazil.
The Capinzal Fire Department was called to the scene at around 9:30 p.m. on March 17. It spread quickly, forcing firefighters to to use a lift truck to get closer to the heart of the fire. Gradually, the firefighters managed to reduce the intensity of the flames and, after three hours, put them all out using 35,000 litres of water.
Firefighters from Piratuba and Joaçaba assisted in bringing the fire under control.
No injuries were reported, and property damage details were unavailable.
