Incident Description:
On February 4, 2023, Sonoticias reported a grain dryer fire at a farm in Novo Horizonte, Brazil.
The fire department was alerted after the electrical failure that caused the fire. The flames were located in a grain dryer. Three firefighters climbed up a side access ladder to reach the source once the area was isolated. It took just over six hours to contain the fire with 30,000 liters of water.
No injuries were reported but the grain dryer was partly destroyed.
