Incident Description:
On November 2, 2021, WBAY reported a fire at an agricultural business in Kiel, Wisconsin.
The Kiel Fire Department says crews were called just after 1:30 p.m. regarding smoke and flames coming from the facility’s corn dryer. A large amount of smoke was found at the facility’s rear.
Officials say ladder trucks from Kiel and New Holstein were sent because of the dryer’s height. Firefighters spent three hours on the scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No injuries were reported.
