On December 19, 2021, The Press reported a fire at a waste food production facility in Barlby, UK.
The alarm was sounded at lunchtime, after smoke was seen issuing from a grain dryer. When three fire crews responded, they found a large amount of food waste on fire. Using hose reels, they extinguished and damped down the fire.
No injuries were reported.
