Incident Description:
On May 24, 2021, FOX 16 reported a fire at a rice milling company in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
The fire broke out at around 6:30 p.m. in a storage facility housing soybeans. It occurred while crews were cleaning out bins. Flames quickly spread and managed to reach the water treatment facility next to the silos.
Firefighters had to cut into the silos to get at the flames and extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported.
