Incident Description:
On April 18, 2019, Fox 43 reported a fire at an Amish-owned sawmill in Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania.
When firefighters arrived, the building was engulfed in flames. They fought the fire from above and below for nearly an hour and a half before it was under control. During the process, the building collapsed. Afterward, firefighters spent hours putting out hot spots under the rubble.
The fire was apparently ignited by dust on an exhaust manifold inside the building. Two people received burn injuries but refused to go to the hospital.
The sawmill owners confirmed that they will rebuild as soon as possible.
