The explosion and fire occurred on May 13 in the factory area where wood chips were being compressed to produce particle boards. One worker was killed.
An on-site inspection will be conducted on the 16th by the Fukui Prefectural Police Tsuruga Station and the Tsuruga Mikata Fire Department to determine the cause of the fire.
