On November 23, 2023, Lausitzer Rundschau reported a dust explosion at a home in Mühlberg, Germany.
The incident occurred at around 4.30 a.m. and shattered panes of glass and damaged room doors. Slight cracks were found on the house. The residents, roused from their sleep, immediately tried to extinguish the fire in the chimney area using a fire extinguisher. The fire brigade took over on arrival.
No injuries were reported.
