Incident Description:
On December 21, 2022, Le Journal reported a fire at a timer processing plant in Essarts-en-Bocage, France.
Vendée Fire and Rescue Service reported that the fire started after 7:00 p.m. inside the dust collector of a sawdust silo. Personnel from the industrial site extinguished the fire before firefighters arrived.
Eighteen firefighters mobilized on the spot were able to search for secondary fires and secure the silo. They left at 10:45 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
