Incident Description:
On September 24, 2018, the NZ Herald reported a dryer fire at a triboard mill in Kaitaia, New Zealand. According to the Fire and Emergency northern region shift manager, the dryer’s sprinkler system effectively extinguished the fire, but crews made sure that the building was safe before leaving it in the hands of the company.
No injuries were reported.
