Two-Day Industry Training: The Digital Dust Safety Conference will feature two full days of industry training where global leaders share their expertise on protection equipment, industry compliance, hazard analysis and regulations, standards and engineering guidance.
Two-Day Research Conference: The industry event will be followed by a multi-day research conference in which students, professors and industry researchers will present on leading-edge topics including: ignition control, explosion testing, fire and explosion modelling, and process safety.

What’s Included
The Digital Dust Safety Conference will be hosted on the newly developed Dust Safety Academy (DSA) Platform. Once you register, you will have immediate access to the platform through personalized login credentials.
In addition to accessing the live digital conference, research presenters, industry presenters and general admissions will have six-month access to the DSA platform where they can view all replays from the event.

Personalized Profile
Each conference participant will be able to create their own personalized profile within the DSA platform.
Community Forum
Each participant will have access to a community forum to discuss the upcoming conference, combustible dust safety, latest research and other topics.
Competitions and Giveaways
Leading up to the event, we will have competitions and giveaways through the conference portal.
Equipment & Service Provider Portal
The DSA platform also includes an exhibition area where you can connect with equipment and service providers, combustible dust experts, and media and trade associations.
Registration
You can currently register as a research presenter or general admission. Research presentation spots will be filled on a first-come basis and the industry presentation spots have already been filled.

Register as a research presenter if you are a student, university researcher or part of government or industry research programs.
Topics must be related specifically to combustible dust fire, explosion or safety research. If you are not sure if your topic applies, email [email protected] with a brief summary of the material.

Q: Who can attend the conference?
A: Anyone can attend the event if purchasing a general admission ticket. Research presentation slots are only available to university students, professors or industry researchers. Industry presentation slots will be given firstly to DustSafetyScience member companies and then from the waitlist above.
Q: What if I can’t view the conference live?
A: Replays of the conference presentations will be available for six months after the event through the Dust Safety Academy platform.
Q: What if I can’t present live?
A: In the case of timezone conflicts we will allow presentations to be prerecorded and questions to be discussed through the community forum. Otherwise, we are going to try and have as many presentations be completed live as possible.
Q: Are the tickets refundable?
A: No, the tickets are non-refundable. However, they can be reassigned to another individual before January 15, 2020. We will try our best to help you find someone to take the ticket before this date.
Q: How long are the presentations?
A: At the moment, we are planning on 20-minute presentation slots followed by 5-minute question periods.
