On September 25, 2022, Redheaded Blackbelt reported a fire at a redwood processing facility in Scotia, California.
An alarm and a call to emergency dispatch went out at about 2:30 p.m. on September 24 after a fire had broken out on a long (reportedly 120′) conveyor belt. The fire department managed to get the flames under control but there was some equipment damage.
No injuries were reported.
