Incident Description:
On May 6, 2020, the Daily Voice reported a dust collector fire at a display stand manufacturer in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Employees called the fire department at 8:17 a.m., soon after the fire occurred in a malfunctioning dust collector. The sprinkler system dealt with the worst of the flames. After evacuating the building, firefighters put the rest of the fire out.
Although EMS evaluated a worker at the scene, no injuries were reported. The extent of the property damage is unknown.
