Incident Description:
On October 31, 2019, the Daily Citizen reported a grain bin fire at a farm outside Fox Lake, Wisconsin.
Fire crews were called to the scene at 2:22 a.m., after a passerby reported seeing flames. When they arrived, the grain bin had collapsed. Firefighters remained on site over two and a half hours and used approximately 8,000 gallons of water to extinguish the flames.
The farm owner had been drying corn overnight when the fire ignited. Damage was estimated at $50,000. No injuries were reported.
