The fire broke out on June 27, 2023, in a fuel storage facility. It contained wood chips within a hall measuring between five to eight metres long.
Emergency services from nearby fire brigades swiftly gained access to the warehouse and successfully brought the developing fire under control. The post-extinguishing efforts continued until approximately 9:00 p.m.
