Incident Description:
On June 6, 2023, France Bleu reported an explosion at a plastic recycling facility in Billy-Berclau, France.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Although the site’s roof suffered damage, there is no risk of collapse, and no fire ensued. The on-site SMUR team conducted an evaluation of the present employees to verify the absence of contamination. In the initial assessment, all observed employees were found unharmed. However, nine employees still awaited examination by the SMUR.
