Incident Description:
On April 4, 2023, Enfoque MS reported a grain dryer fire at a grain processing facility in Campo Grande, Brazil.
Two soybean dryers, which had approximately 35,000 bags of soybeans stored, caught fire. Although the fire was not considered to be significant at first, it ended up spreading to the stored grains. The fire department was quickly called to the scene and had to use at least 5,000 liters of water to control the flames.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
