On March 31, 2023, Minyu reported a fire at a chemical plant in Iwaki City, Japan.
At around 5:35 p.m. on March 30, an employee working at a nearby company called 119, saying that they could see black smoke. According to the Iwaki Higashi Police Station, a fire broke out in a dust collector at the titanium oxide manufacturing plant, resulting in partial damage to the equipment.
