Incident Description:
On February 26, 2023, Jornal Do Oeste reported a fire at a grain processing plant in Pérola Independente, Brazil.
The fire occurred in a grain dryer containing 40 to 50 tons of soybeans. When firefighters arrived at around 4:00 a.m., they tackled the large fire to prevent it from spreading to silos.
The contents had to be disposed of due to water damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
