Incident Description:
On February 3, 2023, PowerMix reported a grain dryer fire at an agricultural facility in Novo Horizonte, Brazil.
Firefighters responded at around 8:22 p.m. By the time they arrived at the scene, the fire had already consumed half of the dryer, so the team isolated the area and started fighting the flames from the top of the dryer.
It took six hours to extinguish using 30,000 litres of water.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
