Incident Description:
On March 7, 2023, AG Week reported a fire at a sugar processing plant in Moorhead, Minnesota.
According to the Moorhead Fire Department, the fire started in the dust collection system. Firefighters were called out just after 4:00 a.m. Crews, along with maintenance staff from the company, had to take apart a pipe in the dust collector to get to the fire and put it out.
No injuries were reported.
