Incident Description:
On February 3, 2023, ZimEye reported an explosion at an agribusiness in Chegutu, Zimbabwe.
The incident occurred at around 4:00 p.m. on January 31, according to a company press release, which also stated that 10 workers suffered burn injuries. They were rushed to a hospital, where their condition was said to be stable.
According to preliminary investigations, the incident was caused by an explosion in a grain bucket elevator. The investigation is ongoing.
