On December 19, 2022, GZH reported a dryer fire at a natural health products company in Caxias do Sul, Brazil.
Two fire trucks and a water truck participated in fighting the fire. More than 10,000 litres of water were used and firefighters fought the flames in pairs due to the amount of smoke. They remained on the scene until 8:30 p.m.
The corporation told firefighters that the site was at risk of major explosions, but by 5:00 p.m, the situation was under control.
No injuries were reported.
