On December 16, 2022, RioMafraMix reported a fire at a sawdust silo in Tijuco Preto, Brazil.
Firefighters spent over five hours getting the flames under control. The volume of sawdust in the silo was approximately 400 cubic metres. Over 35,000 litres of water were used.
No injuries were reported.
