Incident Description:
On December 11, 2022, 4oito reported a fire in a rice silo in Turvo, Brazil.
Firefighters arrived at the scene soon after receiving the call at 10:00 a.m. and found company personnel already engaged in fighting the flames. The fire was located in a rice husk drying tank.
About 14,000 litres of water were used to fight the flames, in addition to the company’s own truck.
No injuries were reported.
