Incident Description:
On December 8, 2022, France Bleu reported a fire at a fibre products company in Lalinde, France.
Neighbours first saw black smoke coming out of buildings. About twenty firefighters intervened and evacuated the 14 employees present in the area. They determined that the fire started from a paper machine and spread to the conveyor belt, but employees had mostly gotten it under control. One person was overcome by the smoke and taken to the hospital for treatment. The fire was finally extinguished in the early evening.
