On August 8, 2022, Yahoo Japan reported an explosion and fire at an auto parts manufacturer in Hamamatsu City, Japan.
According to the neighbours, when the fire broke out, they heard the sound of an explosion and felt vibrations. Others reported windows rattling and fire and smoke appearing, and expressed worry because a children’s nursery was nearby.
The incident, which occurred at around 5:00 p.m., is believed to have started in a dust collector in a building on the premises. No injuries were reported.
