On December 11, 2022, Sulinfoco reported a fire in a rice silo in Turvo, Brazil. The fire started in a rice husk drying tank, and caused structural damage that made it difficult for fire crews to access the main source of the fire. Overall, approximately 14,000 litres of water were used to extinguish the flames.
