Incident Description:
On August 26, 2022, Rádio Catarinense FM reported a fire at an agribusiness in Joaçaba, Brazil.
Firefighters were called to a silo fire at the facility at around 7:30 a.m. When the garrisons arrived at the site, they found a large fire in the corn storage. Approximately 12,000 litres of water were used to fight the flames, which was a difficult task since it was carried out at a height from the top of the silo.
The Catanduvas Fire Department assisted in the service. After extinguishing the flames, they cleared the scene.
No injuries were reported.
