Incident Description:
On April 29, 2022, Notisul reported a fire in a rice silo in Ermo, Brazil.
By the time the garrison arrived, the company’s fire brigade had already begun fighting the flames with the hydrant system.
According to security professionals, the fire was concentrated in a rice husk drying reservoir. In order to completely extinguish the fire, firefighters requested that the reservoir be emptied. Approximately 10,000 litres of water were used, in addition to 20,000 litres from the Technical Fire Reserve, which was used by the company’s fire brigade.
No injuries were reported.
