On May 20, 2022, Lance Noticias reported a silo fire at a wood processing plant in Abelardo Luz, Brazil.
Firefighters responded at around 1:40 p.m. They found the fire inside a storage silo containing wood shavings. The flames were at the bottom of the silo, so a backhoe was used to remove the material.
Approximately 14,000 litres of water were used. After an hour and a half, the fire was declared under control.
No injuries were reported.
