Incident Description:
On April 13, 2022, the Press and Journal reported a fire at a malting company in Buckie, Scotland.
A fire was reported at the building shortly after 6.30 a.m. Fire engines were dispatched as well as specialized equipment to deal with the grain that was on fire. After firefighters from Banff, Aberlour, and Forres arrived on the scene, hot spots were dampened down in a short period of time. Crews successfully extinguished the flames shortly after 7:00 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
