Incident Description:
On April 1, 2022, Radio Tapejara reported a fire in a grain storage silo at a company in Coxilha, Brazil.
After getting the call at 11:50 p.m., two firefighting trucks and an S-10 truck responded. The Passo Fundo Military Fire Department assisted with another truck. About 40,000 litres of water were used to fight and extinguish the flames.
The following afternoon, volunteer firefighters of Tapejara were called and informed that the fire had rekindled. They used two trucks to fight the flames and the Passo Fundo Military Fire Department assisted with a tank truck.
Approximately 60,000 liters of water were used to put out the flames and cool the building.
No injuries were reported.
