On January 28, 2022, A Folha do Sul reported a fire at a grain processing facility in São Bento, Brazil.
The fire started in a grain dryer and spread throughout the silo, which collapsed. Two firefighting trucks spent over four days getting the fire under control and, later, removing rubble.
No injuries were reported.
