Incident Description:
On January 21, 2022, News Channel Nebraska reported a grain bin fire in Fairmont, Nebraska.
The York Fire Department was called to help the Fairmont Volunteer Fire Department with a fire in a 100-foot-tall, 50-foot-wide grain bin. The Geneva, Grafton and Sutton fire departments also assisted. Cold temperatures made things difficult, but firefighters were able to put out the fire.
No injuries were reported.
