Incident Description:
On December 11, 2021, 10 WJAR reported a fire and explosion at an industrial complex in Providence, Rhode Island.
Fire crews were called to the scene at around 3:30 p.m When they arrived, they found a dust hopper on fire on the exterior of the building which spread to the interior of the building.
Upon arrival, a second alarm was called, but the fire was quickly put out. The East Providence Fire Marshal is investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
