Incident Description:
On November 16, 2021, the Salisbury Journal reported a grain dryer fire in Berwick St Leonard, UK.
A team of firefighters from Tisbury, Mere, Shaftesbury, and Salisbury responded to the scene at 10:19 p.m. A water carrier was requested after firefighters arrived, followed by a heavy rescue unit.
They gained entry to the dryer using small tools and a disc cutter before removing the remaining grain and dampening down. After working all night, they got the fire under control.
No injuries were reported.
