Incident Description:
On July 12, 2022, Jmais reported a silo fire at a woodworking facility in Papanduva, Brazil.
Firefighters were called shortly after the fire ignited at around 4:00 a.m. When the teams arrived at the scene, the fire was rapidly spreading inside the silo.
To control and extinguish the fire, firefighters used two lines of attack and approximately 8,000 litres of water. It took approximately three hours to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported.
