Incident Description:
On November 21, 2022, La Depeche reported a fire at a waste recycling centre in Catus, France. It was located in a wood silo.
Firefighters from the Cahors rescue centers and their counterparts from Prayssac were called on shortly after noon, to intervene. They prevented it from spreading and later reported that the incident may have been caused by smouldering, or “slow combustion. Firefighters secured the site by removing the wood.
No injuries were reported.
