Incident Description:
On June 22, 2022, Jornal do Centro reported a fire in a carpentry silo in Carvalhais, Portugal.
Two dozen firefighters responded to the fire, which was confined to the silo, at 4:50 p.m. Responders included volunteer firefighters from Santa Cruz da Trapa and São Pedro do Sul and GNR.
Although workers were in the silo at the time, no one was injured. After the fire was extinguished, the silo was cleaned out. Little property damage was reported.
